Enter Cash Flow Repetitive
Explanation
This activity is used to manually enter recurring cash flows that
recur at a regular interval and are not included in transfers from IFS/Payment.
Examples of
repetitive cash flows are salaries and taxes. The manually created cash
flows can be used in cash flow analysis and reports to get a complete view of
cash flows within the company or companies.
Prerequisites
In order to perform this activity, basic data must have been
entered in the
Cash Flow Sources and
Cash Flow Types
windows.
System Effects
As a result of this entry cash flows can be included in cash
flow analysis reports.

Procedure
To enter recurrent cash flows:
- Open the
Manual Cash
Flow-Repetitive
window and click New. Enter Source and Cash Flow Type either by entering
information in the fields or by selecting from the List of Values. Complete
the First Payment Date and the Number of Payments. The
latter is how many times the payment is to be repeated.
- Continue entry by completing the Frequency field to
indicate how often the cash flow is to occur per Frequency Type. Click the
Frequency Type and select Month, Week, or Day. Enter the recurring cash
amount in the Cash Flow Amount field. Outgoing payments are entered with a
minus sign preceding the amount. Enter Source and Cash Flow Type either
directly in the fields or by selecting from the List of Values. Enter
Currency and whether the payment is incoming or outgoing. Check the option
required in the In/Out field.
- In the Status field, enter a value of 1-5 to designate
the reliability of payment. Use the List of Values for detailed information
on the Status field. Enter information in the Text and Counterpart fields,
using the List of Values. In the Counterpart field choose one of the
options, External or Internal. End by selecting Save. The current date is
set as the entry date by the system.
