Set Supplier and Service Type on Disposition Line - Component MRO

Explanation

This activity is used to specify a supplier and service type for a disposition line. This is necessary when a disposition line consists of modifications and/or discrepancies that require external work.

Prerequisites

• The disposition line must have at least one modification or discrepancy connected.
• The modification or discrepancy should allow or require external work.
• An external service type must have been created.
• The supplier must have a record.
• The supplier must have been associated with the purchase part in the Supplier for Purchase Part window. The external service type should be included in the External Service Pricing tab.

System Effects

The disposition line is prepared for external service.

1. In the Supplier field, enter the code for the supplier or select one from the List of Values.
2. In the External Service Type field, enter the service type or select one from the List of Values.
