Define State Code

Explanation

Use this activity to create or modify the state codes that can be used when entering address information in IFS/Enterprise and for other purposes, such as reporting.

Prerequisites

The countries must be defined as used in application in the ISO Code Usage window in Application Services.

Procedure

1. Open the States window.
2. Query for the country for which you want to add or modify state codes.
3. To create a new state code, create a new record.
4. In the State Code field, enter the new state code if you are adding a state code record. If you are modifying an existing state code record, you cannot edit this field.
5. In the State Name field, enter the state name that corresponds to the state code. If you are modifying an existing record, you can change the contents of this field.
6. Save the record.
