Enter Check Templates

Explanation

This activity is used to enter check templates that can be used when making payments by check.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, check reports should be installed in the system.

System Effects

The defined check templates will be available to be connected to cash accounts in the Payment Documents window.

Procedure

The following procedure is used to define a new check template.

  1. Open the Check Templates window and create a new record.
  2. Enter an ID for the new check template in the Template ID field.
  3. Enter a description for the new check template in the Description field.
  4. In the Layout ID field, enter the ID of the check layout that you want to use with the check template.
  5. Save the information.
