Copy Company Template

Explanation

This activity is used to copy an existing company template.

Some remarks:

• It is possible to use any company template as the source for the copy activity.
• The new template ID must be unique, i.e., a company template with the supplied ID must not already exist.
• The new company template ID cannot be a reserved system template ID, unless the current user is the application owner or a company template super user. 

Prerequisites

Company templates must be available in the database. 

System Effects

A new company template will be created with exactly the same contents as the source template.

Procedure

1. Populate the Company Templates window and select a source template, or query for the source template.
2. Right-click and then click Copy Company Template.
   Note that you can use this option even if the window is not populated.
3. Enter the template ID if it is not pre-defined. Click List to see a list of available company templates
4. Enter the ID of the new template.
5. Enter a description for the new template.
6. Click OK to start the copy activity or click Cancel to abort.
