Modify LU Data

Explanation

The lowest level of a company template is the Logical Unit related data. This activity can be used by skilled users to modify an existing company template but the recommended way to perform the modifications is to do the following:

However, it also can be useful to have the ability to change the template data directly. In order to make it easy to understand what the data in the template represents, the column headers for each logical unit will receive a title that corresponds to the header in the basic data form representing the current logical unit.

Note that it is very important to modify the data accurately and to make sure that all other related logical units in the template also are modified accordingly, to get a consistent template as much as possible. The entered data will not be validated.

Each template detail data record must have an Item Identity. It is not possible to enter this identity manually, it will be automatically set to the current highest Item Identity + 1. If the data in a logical unit must be processed in a given order then the Item ID is not a good choice. In this case the logical unit must have an attribute that defines the order.
