Define Mobile Integrations

Explanation

This activity is used to define third party integrations with mobile application. Web clients, EE clients and external mobile applications can be linked to display on the WO Actions or Home Screen screen.

Prerequisites

You must have the appropriate privileges in order to run IFS Solution Manager.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, mobile device get enabled to communicate with other systems via links created on WO Actions and Home Screen screen.

Procedure

  1. Open the Mobile Integration window and create a new record (F5).
  2. In the Integration Identity field, enter an unique identity.
  3. In the Feature Type field, Use APK for 3rd party Application link, Web for Website link or EE for IFS Enterprise Explorer pages
  4. In the Application ID field, enter the actual application id if the Feature Type selected is APK.
  5. In the Name field, enter a display name of App or Website that is displayed on IFS Mobile Client .
  6. In the Description field, enter a description of Application or Website that is displayed on IFS Mobile Client.
  7. In the Uniform Resource Locator field, enter the web or EE address depending on the value selected in Feature Type.
  8. In the Transformer Application ID field, enter the actual Application Identifier of a Transformer which acts as an integration between the IFS Mobile Client and the 3rd party Application. 
  9. In the Display Order field, enter the order Mobile Integrations will be displayed on IFS Mobile Client.
  10. In the Active field, enter whether the Mobile Integration is displayed or not on IFS Mobile Client.
  11. In the Screen field, enter home or work order to determine whether the link will appear either on the IFS Mobile Client Home screen or on the WO Action screen.
  12. Save the record (F12).
