Use this activity to define a code part for the elimination code to be used in the internal elimination structure.

Prerequisites

Before the code part can be defined, the following must have been completed:

• The company must exist in IFS Financials.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to define the code part:

1. Open Define Code String and find the code parts.
2. Enter an optional name for the code part in the Internal Name field for the code part that is to be used for the elimination code.
3. Specify Yes in the Code Used field.
4. Specify Internal Elimination in the Code Part Function field.
5. Enter a maximal number of characters.
6. Enter a description in the Description field.
7. Save the information.
