Use this activity to define a code part to be used as the own part in the internal elimination structure.

Prerequisites

Before the code part can be defined, the following must have been completed:

• The company must exist in IFS Financials.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to define a code part to be used as the own part:

1. Open Define Code String and find the code parts.
2. Enter an optional name in the Internal Name field for the code part that is to be used for the own part.
3. Specify "Yes" in the Code Used field.
4. Specify the Logical Code Part, if appropriate.
5. Enter a maximal number of characters.
6. Enter a description in the Description field.
7. Save the information.
