Enter Object Physical Locations

Explanation

This activity is used to enter object physical locations. Each object physical location belongs to a site. Therefore, it is possible to enter two or more physical locations with a common ID as long as they are entered for different sites.

Prerequisites

Before an object physical location is entered, a site must exist in the system.

System Effects

As a result of this activity, it will be possible to specify the the physical location in which a fixed assets object is located when entering inventory information for the object in the Object/Inventory tab window.

Procedure

1. Open the Object Physical Locations window.
2. Enter the site for which you want to enter the object physical location in the Site field. The List of Values can be used to select the appropriate site.
3. Enter the ID of the object physical location in the Object Physical Location field.
4. Enter a description for the object physical location in the Description field.
5. Save the information.
