Change Consolidation Structure Status

This activity is used to change the status of a consolidation structure. There are three statuses.

• In Progress : This is the status of a structure when it is created. A structure can be modified only when it's status is In Progress.

• Active : The structures with this status can be used in the group consolidation process.

• Obsolete : This status indicates that the structure is no longer valid and cannot be used in the group consolidation process.

Prerequisites

In order to perform this activity, a consolidation structure should exist.

As a result of this activity, the status of a structure is changed.

Procedure

To change the status of a consolidation structure:

1. Open the Consolidation Structure window and search for the consolidation structure for which the status should be changed.
2. Right-click in the header of the window and click Set Status Active to set the status to active. ( Note : This value can be selected if the structure status is In Progress or Obsolete)
3. Right-click in the header of the window and click Set Status In Progress to set the status to in progress. (Note : This value can be selected if the structure status is Active or Obsolete)
4. Right-click in the header of the window and click Set Status Obsolete to set the status to obsolete. (Note : This value can be selected if the structure status is Active or In Progress)

Note : Select the Generate Equity Eliminations check box to generate the equity elimination postings in the consolidation process by using the information in the Acquisition Register window.
