Use Voucher Template

Explanation

This activity is used when creating a manual voucher using voucher templates. You can select and copy multiple templates with multiple voucher rows using this dialog. If the date range for a voucher template is incorrect then the voucher rows for that template will not be copied.

Prerequisites

In order to copy a voucher template, a voucher template must have been entered in the Voucher Template window.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the voucher rows in the template are displayed in Voucher Entry. The user can then change the information.

Procedure

Use the following procedure to use a voucher template:

1. Open the Voucher Entry window.
2. Click the New function.
3. Right click and select the Use Voucher Template option.
4. Select the voucher template (s). The voucher rows for the selected template or templates will be displayed in the Voucher Postings tab in the Voucher Entry window.
5. Click Save.
