Explanation

This activity is used to define condition categories. Condition categories are used when defining condition monitoring programs, and when registering condition measurements on serials.

Procedure

1. Open the Maintenance Program Basic Data window.
2. Click the Condition Category tab and create a new record (F5).
3. In the Condition Category field, enter up to 10 alphanumeric characters for the short code that will be used in the system. A value in this field is required and cannot be updated.
4. In the Description field, enter the description of the new condition category. A value in this field is required and can be updated.
5. Save the record (F12).
