Consolidated Pick List

Like the shop order pick list, a consolidated pick list also contains reserved material to be used in manufacturing, but the consolidated pick list can contain material lines from several shop orders.

The pick list contains all material to be used in manufacturing the shop order. It is used as a basis for picking reserved material from inventory. The pick list does not imply a physical reservation of parts, but the picker determines the locations at which the parts are to be picked. 

When printing a pick list for a project connected shop order the PPSA (PPSA - Program, Project, Sub-project, Activity) information are included. For all lines to be picked from project inventory the exact activity belonging is included on the pick list.

Pick List Sections

The consolidated pick list report contains two sections:

• The first page shows the consolidation parameters selected when creating the pick list.
• The following pages contain all the material lines included in the pick list. They are sorted by warehouse, bay, row, tier and bin to facilitate picking.

Pick List Options

• Pick List(s) per: Select the required type of consolidation. The material lines will be placed on different pick lists (e.g., depending on the warehouse structure).
• Additional Parameters: Use additional parameters to limit the selection of material lines to be included in the consolidation. By default, all reserved material lines that are not yet on a pick list are included..
• Create Warehouse Task: This option is available if warehouse tasks are enabled for shop order pick lists. Warehouse tasks will be created for each pick list number, but the same layout will be used for the pick list report.
