Reject Resource Breaks

Explanation

This activity is used to reject an Unscheduled resource break. The status of the break changes to Finished. A resource break in Finished state has no effect on the shop order schedule. Resource breaks in Unscheduled or Scheduled state are taken into account only when the orders are scheduled using Constraint Based Scheduling (CBS), not when using the Shop Order Infinite Scheduler.

Prerequisites

A resource break having Unscheduled status must exist.

System Effects

As a result of this activity:

• the status of the break changes from Unscheduled to Finished.
• if the break belongs to a CBS site, it will be removed from the Scheduling Server.
• if the break belongs to an Advanced Planning Board (APB) site, it will not be loaded when the APB is used.

Procedure

1. Populate the window.
2. Select the resource break(s) you want to reject.
3. Right-click and then click Reject. The status of the selected break(s) changes to Finished.
