Update Repair History Records

Explanation

Use this activity to update the repair reason and/or repair note of a repair history record. This will be only used when the parameters, such as repair reason, entered in the multilevel repair process is erroneous and needs to be corrected.

Prerequisites

A history record should exist with Record Processed parameter cleared. i.e. History record should have not been used to create a new as built structure which happens when receiving the shop order.

Procedure

  1. Open the Repair History window and query for your shop order.
  2. If there are several history records exist for different parent parts in the structure, then there could be several history records exist for the same shop order. In such cases, select the record with correct Parent Part No from Order No list box.
  3. Select the record in the lower table and make sure the Record Processed is cleared .
  4. Get the List of Values for Repair Reason and select a suitable one.
  5. If you wish to do so, update the Repair Note field as well.
  6. Save the record.
