Make Analysis Consider Op Scrap Quantity

Explanation

Use this activity to decide whether Shop Order Lot Size or Shop Order Operation Quantity to Report should be used as the base for data point sample size calculations when creating an Analysis. If the analysis is created after scrapping and the shop order lot size is used, the sample size may in fact be greater than the remaining quantity. To solve this problem it is possible to make the analysis consider scrapped quantity on previous and current operations.

System Effects

As a result of this activity the sample size will be automatically calculated from the Shop Order Operation Quantity to Report instead of Shop Order Lot Size when creating an analysis by trigger. The sample size for each data point is calculated based on the inspection type, quantity to inspect and the sum of complete quantity and quantity to report for the relevant operation. When creating an analysis manually, this will be the pre-selected option.
