Create Document Distribution List

Explanation

Use this activity to create a document distribution list. This list can be created using the Document Distribution Assistant or one row at a time using the Distribution window.

Procedure

Use one of the following procedures to create a document distribution list.

Using the Document Distribution Assistant:

  1. Open the Document Revisions window and query for the document revisions you will distribute. 
  2. Right-click and select Document Distribution to open the Document Distribution Assistant. Follow the instructions provided within the wizard.

Using the Distribution window:

  1. Click New to create a new row.
  2. Enter values for Document Class, Document Number, Document Sheet, Document Revision and Receiver fields. Enter values for the other fields as required.
  3. Click Save to add the receiver to the document distribution.
