Main Exercise

Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to show you where and how to enter scrapping causes. The scrapping cause will be used later on when you need to scrap a part that, for example, has been damaged in transit.

Scrapping Causes

IFS Racing needs a scrapping cause for parts that have been damaged in the warehouse. Enter such a scrapping cause in the program.

Entering a Scrapping Cause

1. Open the Scrapping Causes window and create a new record (F5).
2. Enter a value in the Scrapping Cause ID field, for example, XXD (where XX should be replaced by your initials).
3. Enter a description of your scrapping cause, for example, Damaged.
4. Save your entry (F12).
