Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to show how to setup cyclic counting.

Setup Cyclic Counting

1. Open the Inventory Part window, and query for the part that should be enabled for cyclic counting.
2. Click the Misc Part Info tab.
3. Select the Cyclic Counting check box.
4. Enter an appropriate value (in working days) in the Cycle Period field.
5. Save your changes (F12).

Note: To make any subsequent exercises work, you have to enter a valid cycle period calculated from the last count date. To be absolutely certain, enter 0 (zero).
