Purpose: The purpose of this exercise is to show you the required data that is used in the exercises below.
In the Purchase Order window, enter a purchase order for supplier XX-190 (Racing Color Company), with two purchase order lines for the purchase part XX-88-201 (Lilac Paint). Enter a third purchase order line for the purchase part XX-88-201, using a quantity that is 3.5 times the quantity per pallet. (This purchase order line is to be used when reporting arrival of parts on pallets.) Change the receive case for the three purchase order lines to Receive into Arrival, Inspect at QA, and select an inspection code. Release the purchase order and make a note of the purchase order number.
In the Register Purchase Order Arrivals window, register the arrival of the purchase order to arrival locations.
