Setting Up Sales Contract Basic Data—Exercises
Main Exercise
Purpose: The purpose of these exercises is to define basic
data for a sales contract.
Windows:
Sales Contract Basic Data
- Open the
Sales Contract Basic Data
window
and click the
Contract Type tab.

Create a new record. (F5)

Enter a Contract Type beginning with XXRAILREP, substituting XX with
your initials.

Enter Type Description e.g. Rail Replacement
- Save the record.(F12)
- Open the
Sales Contract Basic Datawindow and click the
Deduction Type tab.

Create a new record. (F5)
-
Enter Deduction Type beginning with XXCITB, substituting XX with
your initials.

Enter Deduction Name e.g. CITB Levy
- Enter
the value 5.00% in Percentage column
- Save the record.(F12)
- Open the
Sales Contract Basic Data
window and click on the
Reason Code tab.

Create a new record. (F5).
- Enter the values in the table below,
substituting XX with your initials.
- Save the
records. (F12)

your initials.

Sales Contract Basic Data
window and click on the
Competitor tab.

Create a new record. (F5).
- Enter the values in the table below,
substituting XX with your initials.

Item Type tab.
