Purpose: The purpose of this lesson is to learn how to get a better overview of a document structure using the commands Show Document Structure in Navigator, and Show Document Structure in Overview. This makes it easier to find and work with single documents in a structure, aand to perform operations on multiple documents (but not all) in a document structure.
Windows:
Document Revision
In this exercise, you will learn how to display a document structure in the graphical navigator.
Note: The Document Structure Navigator window opens, displaying the document structure. It is basically the Document Revision window but with a graphical navigator appearing on the left of the window.
Note: If any of the files connected to a document in the structure are checked out, this will be displayed by a differently colored icon in the navigator. A green icon indicates a document checked out by you, and a red icon indicates a document checked out by another person.
In this exercise, you will learn how to display all the documents in a document structure in an overview.
Note: This method can be used if you want to execute certain operations on some documents in a structure, but not all.
