Main Exercise
Purpose: The main purpose of these exercises
is to define basic data for sub contracts.

Sub Contract Basic Data
Purpose: The purpose of this
exercise is to register a contract type for the sub contract.
Windows:
Sub Contract Basic Data/Contract Type
- Open the Sub Contract Basic Data
window.
- Click the Contract Type
tab and create a new record (F5).
- In the
Contract Type field, enter the contract type XXINS, where
XX are your
initials.
- In the Type Description
field, enter Installation.
- Save the record (F12).
Purpose: The purpose of this
exercise is to register a deduction type for sub contract deductions.

- Open theSub Contract Basic Data
window.
- Click the
Deduction Type
tab and create a new record (F5).
- In the
Deduction Type field, enter XXITB, where XX are your initials.

In the Deduction Name field, enter Industry
Training Board.
- In the Percentage (%)
field, enter 10.
- Save the record (F12).
Purpose: The purpose of this
exercise is to create additional address types for the contacts that are
connected to a sub contract.

- Click the
Address Type
tab and create a new record (F5).
- In the
Address Type field, enter XXSITE, where XX are your initials.

Site Office.
- Save the record (F12).
Purpose: The purpose of this
exercise is to create two reason codes to be used on sub contracts.

- Enter reason codes using the information in the

exercise is to create a category to be used for grouping similar sub contracts.
Windows:

- Open the Sub Contract Basic Data
window.
- Click the Category1
tab and create a new record (F5).
- In the
Category1 Name field, enter XXBC, where XX are your initials.
- In
the Category1 Description field, enter Building and Construction.

Save the record (F12).
Purpose: The purpose of this
exercise is to create a supplementary category to be used for grouping similar
sub contracts.

- Open the Sub Contract Basic Data
window.
- Click the Category2
tab and create a new record (F5).
- In the
Category2 Name field, enter a suitable category name. Make sure to
precede the category name with XX, where XX are your initials.
- In the
Category2 Description field, enter a description for the new category.
- Save the record (F12).
Purpose: The purpose of this
exercise is to create additional contract statuses.

- Open the Sub Contract Basic Data
window.
- Click the Sub Status
tab and create a new record (F5).
- In the
Sub Status field, enter XXHP, where XX are your initials.
- In the Sub
Status Description field, enter High Priority.
- Save
the record (F12).
- Create a new record (F5) and create another sub status
of Low Priority. Make sure to precede the sub status ID with XX, where XX
are your initials.

exercise is to create work instruction types to be used on work instructions.

- In the
Description field, enter Details.
- Save the record

Purpose: The purpose of this
exercise is to create three sub contract task types.

rules will be used to configure the automatic generation of sub contract numbers
based on the company, site and contract type associated with a sub contract.
