Create CSS Postings
Explanation
Use this activity to create CSS (Cost Sold Services)
postings for the applicable work order postings.
Prerequisites
- The CSS Type for the relevant work order posting
should be either Not Posted or Partly Posted.
- Posting controls should be defined for the T3
posting type in IFS/Accounting Rules.
- Work order posting lines must be transferred to IFS/Accounting
Rules
(i.e., the booking status should be Transferred).
- Work order posting lines must be transferred to IFS/Customer Order
and the customer order should be delivered (i.e., the work order posting
should be in the Transferred status) OR the work order posting line should be
set to Not Invoiceable and the work order completed.
System Effects
- CSS postings are
created. You can view the postings in the
CSS Postings Analysis window.
- The CSS type of the relevant work order posting
line will be set as Posted.

Procedure
To create postings directly:
- Open the Create CSS Postings dialog box.
- Change the value in the To Date field if required. This date
determines as to up to when the postings should be created.
- Change the value in the Site field if required. Use the List of
Values to select a suitable value. Alternatively you can click Default
to display the default values defined by your administrator.
- Click OK.
To schedule the creation:
- Open the Create CSS Postings dialog box.
- Click Schedule and follow the steps in the wizard that appears.
