Graphical Position Structure

[Organization Administration]

Usage

Use this window to manage matrix and company position structures. By arranging positions into a hierarchical chart, you can define distribution of responsibility within the organization. Access rights, default jobs, export groups, and other data can be linked to a position. This allows for a quick and easy management of employees through the position assignment.
The window displays details of the structure ID selected in the header. It is important to note that matrix structures can encompass multiple companies, allowing for more complicated organization setups.

The graphical position structure (graphical object structure) can display only data valid on the date specified in the Date field. By default, positions inactive on a certain date will be visible, but marked with a cross. Red cross means that a position is no longer valid. Green cross means that a position is not valid yet. To display only active positions, right-click on any element of the graphical object structure and select Display only valid positions as at User Date.

You can zoom (F8) on the Date field and view all dates on which a change to the position structure has been made. Selecting a date will automatically enter it in the Date field.

For the description of each tab in the window, follow the appropriate link: General, Properties, Assigned Employees, Position History.
