Approve Resource Forecast

Explanation

This activity is used to promote the resource forecast version from the Preliminary status to the Approved status. Generally an approval on a resource forecast is done by the responsible person for the resource forecast, once resource estimates have been made on resource lines of the resource forecast.

Prerequisites

• Snapshot exception lines should not exist for a resource forecast.
• The resource forecast lines should have the price updated.

System Effects

• The Approved status is assigned to the resource forecast version. Any modifications on the resource forecast version will be restricted.

Procedure

1. Open the Project Resource Forecast window and query for a resource forecast version for which you want to approve.
2. Right click, click Status and then click Approve.
