Usage

Use this window to create preliminary resource forecast versions and then expand on these versions using forecast lines with forecast hours.

You can also use this window to view or modify information on a resource forecast version, copy from existing resource forecasts, spread resource forecast hours and change the status. You are able to create, connect or disconnect snapshots from a required resource forecast version and drill down to detailed information for snapshots as well.

The navigator can be hidden to enable larger working space while not losing track of the position in the structures.

Once the lines have been created you can then spread or reset the hours.

You can also use this window to navigate to interrelated windows when you right click on this window and select the required window. The following activities are generally performed via the right mouse button options:

• Spread forecasted amounts and view the spread.
• Set Estimate to Complete (ETC) hours based on previous ETC hours or Estimate at Completion (EAC) hours.
• If the cost of the resource or postings are changed later it is possible to use the Update Cost menu option and update the change.

The tabs for this window will only be displayed once the window is queried for or populated with budget/forecast versions.
